About Me

I am a graduate student working on my PhD in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My main areas of research are intelligent tutoring systems and educational data mining. My advisor is Dr. Tiffany Barnes.

Background

Prior to starting my PhD, I spent over ten years in the business world. Although I am still consulting, my most recent major position was Vice President of Development for VSI Technolgies, Inc.

Curriculum Vitae

I am current looking for a Assistant Professor position. My Curriculum Vitae is available here.

Hobbies

I am an avid collector of Arcade and Pinball machines. A somewhat outdated list of my collection of arcade games can be seen here. I am also a big fan of the obscure Vectrex game system that came out in 1982. This is a vector based game machine (like Asteroids or Tempest) that was released for home use. In addition to enjoying playing the games, I have created a few of my own games written entirely in Motorola 6809 Assembler language.
